ASTRO TRANSIT
This upcoming New Moon in Capricorn carries a chest weighty feeling. And I will go so far as to say from here on out… as Saturn and Neptune prepare to begin an entirely new cycle in Aries, many of the lunations ahead will carry this same gravity brought on by these collective outer planets. We are moving into a period where fantasy, denial, and emotional avoidance are no longer sustainable strategies. Reality checks are asking to be met.

Every year when this Scorpionic new moon rolls around, there is always a level of shedding required from whatever mental, emotional, or situational baggage has been clogging the doorway into a new beginning. This week’s upcoming scorpio new moon occurring Nov 19th at 10:47 pm pst feels particularly more weighty than usual, darker, more consequential than previous cycles. There is a sense that the stakes have quietly risen. That whatever you choose or refuse to choose now will ripple farther than it normally would.

What’s particularly notable about this upcoming Full Moon in Taurus occurring on Wednesday November 5th is that Uranus’s current retrograde will slip back into Taurus just 2 days later. I strongly believe this foreshadows the road ahead for millions of people across the globe when it comes to what we used to rely on for comfort and what we can no longer assume will hold. We can no longer look the other way and ignore the further destabilization of the systems, both collective and personal that once offered emotional and material safety.

Tomorrow on Monday October 6 at 8:47 to 8:48 pm Pacific, the Moon reaches fullness at 14° of Aries opposite the Sun in Libra. It is a Harvest Supermoon, so everything reads larger in the body and on the horizon, including affect, heat, and impulse. Emotional impulse leading to quick action is a strong energetic signature during this time. This will peak even 2-3 days after tomorrow’s full moon, and continue to culminate for the rest of this month.

Tomorrow on July 7th at 12:46 AM Pacific, Uranus moves into Gemini, kicking off an 8-year cycle that’s going to shake up how we communicate, argue, process information, and make sense of the world around us. Keep in mind Uranus will dip back into Taurus for one last round starting November 7, 2025, before returning to Gemini for the long haul on April 25, 2026, where it’ll stay until May 22, 2033. Uranus is the planet of sudden awakenings, disruption, and rebellion, while Gemini, ruled by Mercury, governs language, duality, short-form thinking, and the nervous system.

Starting Monday, June 9th, 2025, Jupiter returns to the sign of its exaltation Cancer for the first time in over a decade. And unlike the flashy, fast-talking transit of Jupiter in Gemini, this new jupiter cycle holds you. It asks you to feel more deeply. To remember what makes you feel safe. Held. Human. But this homecoming is messy at first. We start this new cycle with Jupiter immediately squaring Saturn and Neptune in Aries.

As we welcome Saturn in Aries on May 24th, the tides that once pulled us inward now recede. We can finally breathe again after being submerged in water for so long.
And we’re left blinking in the sun, stripped bare, asked to begin again. I’m super relieved to see Saturn leaving Pisces. That transit felt like spiritual jet lag. Personally, it hit harder than my Saturn return in Aquarius. But do know that Saturn in Aries is no vacation either. It kickstarts a 2–3 year cycle of resistance training.

“Oh, my love, what happened to your light? What happened to your light?I am a kid again (light), I could do anything (light)” –Jon Bellion, Kid Again Let’s hold a funeral service for Neptune in Pisces. Bend down and gaze into the Piscean water reflecting it’s mirror back at you. The water conjures an image. Visions of […]

Yesterday at 4:28 am pt, we had a Pluto Cazimi in Aquarius. This piece in particular has been hard to write because Pluto is so loaded. So is the weight of the world. The words finally started poured out organically once I started my period today & entered my lunar return a couple hours after the moon entered Scorpio. Since Pluto ingressed into the sign of Aquarius last November, I’ve been in my own katabasis (especially with my Midheaven in Aquarius). To start, let’s first address what a cazimi is.
