February 1st, 2026, at 2:08 pm PT 🌕 Full Moon (13°03 Leo)

Currently in the skies, we have a significant stellium with Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, and Pluto all crowded into Aquarius like revolutionaries gathering in a town square. With malefic Mars pressed against Pluto, the planet of death and transformation, we’re witnessing collective rage finally finding its voice. There is fury in the air, righteous and raw, demanding we pay attention to systems that have failed us, to injustices we’ve grown numb to, to the machinery of oppression that grinds on while we scroll past.

Directly opposite all of this Aquarian intensity, sits the Moon in Leo. The heart. The courage. The roar.

Tomorrow, February 1st at 2:07 PM PST, the Full Moon blazes into Leo, illuminating one of the most existentially dizzying tensions we’ve faced in years.

On one side: the collective, the revolution, the anger at what humanity has become. On the other: personal passion, individual sovereignty, the courage to lead with heart. Can you find a middle path forward? Will you choose one over the other?

It’s time to use your free will, courage, to make that choice.

This Full moon in Leo will challenge the false binaries between love & action

Luna AstrologyFebruary 1st, 2026, at 2:08 pm PT 🌕 Full Moon (13°03 Leo)

Neptune has finally started a new cycle in Aries, a transit that only occurs once every 165 years or so. The planet of dreams, illusions, and spiritual dissolution has moved into the sign of the warrior, the pioneer, the one who charges forward. In just two weeks, Saturn will also ingress into Aries, meeting up with Neptune for one of the most significant conjunctions we’ll witness in our lifetimes. Neptune in Aries is asking us to dream a new kind of courage into being. To dissolve our outdated ideas about what bravery looks like, what warriorship means, what it takes to be a spiritual person in times like these.

Aries doesn’t tolerate lies. Aries doesn’t have patience for pretty words that mean nothing. Aries is the zodiac’s bullshit detector, and it’s about to run a diagnostic on every single person who’s been calling themselves spiritual while staying comfortable.

For about the last 14 years, Neptune has been in Pisces, its home sign. There was also a lot of “I’m too sensitive for this harsh world” while people with no choice but to live in that harsh world suffered. A lot of vision boards and moon water and “good vibes only, high frequency vibes” while the planet burned and people died and injustice compounded.

Neptune in Pisces allowed for that kind of tone deafness. It gave us permission to float away, to dissolve into our own little spiritual bubbles, to mistake numbness for peace. Aries won’t allow it.

Neptune & Saturn in Aries is the energy of outrage when outrage is warranted.

Aries is the part of you that says “absolutely not” when you witness harm. Aries uses anger as a spiritual instrument to correct the wrongs of the world, to correct humanity’s injustices.

And when Saturn joins Neptune in Aries in two weeks, we’re going to see the full dismantling of false spirituality & peace.

The kind that claims to be evolved while remaining completely detached from the realities of human suffering & violence.

Saturn is going to demand your spirituality in action. Show me how your meditation practice translates into material change. Show me how your perceived enlightenment helps anyone other than yourself.

And if you can’t? Aries energy will call you out. Loudly. Publicly. Without mercy. The old Neptune in Pisces template of spirituality, the one that allowed you to float above consequence, to claim you were “holding space” while doing absolutely nothing in the real world to help, is over. Aries sees through it. Aries smells the bullshit from a mile away. And Aries will not be quiet about it.

The Spiritual Warrior Archetype Exists for a Reason

There’s a concept in many traditions of the spiritual warrior. Not the warrior who fights for ego or domination, but the one who fights because they’ve seen what’s worth protecting.

Because they understand that love without boundaries dissolves into nothing. Because they know that sometimes the highest spiritual act is saying “No. Not on my watch.”

Fighting is not lower vibration. Let me say it louder for the people in the back thinking they can timeline jump out of a reality if they embodied pleasure hard enough: Fighting for justice, for protection of the vulnerable, for truth in the face of tyranny is one of the highest spiritual orders. This doesn’t mean violence for violence’s sake. It means refusal to be complicit. It means using your voice even when it shakes. It means putting your body, your resources, your privilege on the line when others don’t have the luxury of opting out. Evil doesn’t disappear because we ignore it. It festers. It grows. It takes the silence of good people as permission to expand.

With Neptune newly in Aries and Saturn about to join it, we’re being asked to reimagine what spiritual warriorship looks like for our generation. The old models don’t work anymore. The passive mystic, untouched by worldly concerns, meditating on a mountaintop while the village below burns? That archetype is dying.

Leo’s Courage to Shine a Light on Everything

The Leo Moon invites us to embody our humanity fully instead of just “transcending it.” Leo energy is about showing up with your whole chest, your whole heart, even when it’s terrifying. Especially when it’s terrifying.

This Full Moon, opposing that loaded Aquarius stellium, is forcing a question:

What does it mean to hold both personal joy AND collective responsibility?

How do we honor our individual light without turning away from the darkness that threatens to swallow others?

You can be radically committed to your own healing AND show up for collective liberation. You can protect your energy AND refuse to use that protection as an excuse for apathy. You can meditate AND march.

This full moon wants you to embody a template of spirituality that does not involve bypassing human suffering & violence. It demands you bring all of yourself to the problems we face. Your light, yes. But also your fire. Your love, absolutely. But also your righteous anger. Your peace, when appropriate. But also your willingness to disrupt it when justice requires.

Will you step up with the courage of Leo?

Will you lead acknowledging evil very much exist?

Will you let your heart be brave enough to stay open in the face of everything that wants to close it?

The spiritual warrior will fight because they love what’s behind them. They love it enough to risk their comfort, their safety, their carefully cultivated peace.

What do you love enough to fight for? And are you brave enough to let your spirituality include that fight?

Because if enlightenment means ascending above while we turn away the suffering of others while they get stuck in another timeline, then frankly, I don’t want it.

Show up. Feel everything. Let your heart break and let it make you braver. Let your outrage be holy. This is the work. This is the path. This is what it means to be human and spiritual at once, not one or the other, but both, always both, courageously both.

Recommendations for this Full Moon 🌕💫✨

  • Let your heart lead, even when it’s terrifying. Leo asks you to show up fully, vulnerably, with your whole chest.
  • Do one thing this week that scares you but feels aligned with your values. Make that call. Send that email. Show up to that meeting.
  • Practice leading with love AND boundaries. Leo teaches us that fierce protection is an act of devotion.
  • Stop dimming your light to make others comfortable. Your visibility matters. Your voice matters.
  • Join or support a collective effort. Find your people. Organize together.
  • Channel your rage into strategic action. Anger is information. Let it guide you toward where you’re needed.
  • Ask yourself: Where am I prioritizing personal comfort over collective responsibility?
  • Find the balance between self-care and showing up. Rest so you can fight harder, not so you can avoid the fight.
  • Make one decision this week that honors BOTH your joy AND the collective good. They’re not mutually exclusive.
