My 12th house has been in charge during this Taurus season. Which means I wasn’t.

This time of year is usually my personal period of holy pause. I found myself the last couple of weeks recharging my throat chakra and overall energy reserves conversing with others.

So I stopped trying to say something profound and started humming. Humming while I made tea. Humming on my way to the river. Humming instead of answering texts. I find verbal articulation tiring during Taurus season.

Every Taurus season, without fail, I also start thinking about God.

I grapple with the definition of god a lot.

And now towards the end of Taurus season, I keep coming back around to feeling closest to god when I engage with the earth. Looking at the eagles soar above me when I do my daily river walks. Seeing the wet mud below me as both mundane and a sign I’m alive.

I can’t tell you how many churches, cathedrals, mosques I visited as a Sagittarius. I go there looking for god a lot, but never hear it’s voice.

And yet… I feel closest to god when I walk in mud. The squelch of wet soil beneath my sneakers during walks. I also feel closest to god when I let myself cry outside so the trees can hear me.

Also when the sun beats down on me, and my skin does the job of crying for me.

As a Gemini rising my mind tends to always be “on”, so it’s not a surprise when I saw that I immensely cherish the Tauruses in my life that mirrors back the reminder that mental rest, slowing down the body is a paramount part of life. They are grounding rods in a season of circuitry.

Since this monday’s Scorpio Full Moon, I felt a huge shift in the shifting of timelines on a christ consciousness level. Scorpio Full Moon felt holy.

I’m not a religious person, I’ve been strongly feeling that what some may call Jesus, the universe, or spirit is walking alongside me. Not to save me. Not to convert me. But to remind me that there is something bigger than my mind’s ability to organize chaos.

Maybe it’s the new Pope. Maybe it’s Saturn’s final sermon in Pisces.

Maybe it’s the collective cracking at the seams and calling it “news.” Whatever it is, it feels like the veil is thinned in ways I can’t ignore. Institutions crumble. False gods fall.

And all I can do is press my hands to the earth, close my eyes, and listen for the language beneath language.

As we’re nearing Gemini season, this is a season of duality, of multiplicity, of saying one thing and meaning three.

Coming out of Taurus season, our curiosity is coming online again. One that mirrors the mess of the world back to us and dares us to stay in conversation anyway.

How to navigate Gemini Season

Before we break down Gemini season in 3 phrases, I want to first of all say that there’s an overall feeling of slipperiness when the Sun is in Gemini. This chatty season also can have you asking a lot of questions.

You know the ones. The questions that sit behind your eyes while you’re brushing your teeth. The questions that press their fingertips against your temples at 2AM when your brain won't shut off. The questions that show up mid-conversation, like a glitch in the matrix, when someone says, “What do you really mean by that?

As a Gemini rising, it can feel incredibly annoying. I will attest to that. But, there’s a purpose to the questioning.

You’re put into a mental spin cycle figure out what’s yours and what’s just static. This requires you to be curious in conversation, to find intimacy and playful rebuttal in thought-sharing.

And, you’ll find, to believe in something is to accept the contradictions it comes with. You may change your mind. That is part of life. That is integrating shadow with light.

Here’s the main goal with Gemini season:

Gemini season teaches us that curiosity is the path and that meaning isn’t always immediate. Sometimes, it unfolds slowly, like a story told over many chapters.

PHASE 1. - May 20th - 29th

Every thought is a doorway. You’re choosing which ones you walk through.

Children's Games, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, 1560
  • May 20th - Sun ingresses into Gemini

  • May 24th - Saturn’s ingress into Aries

  • May 25th - Mercury ingress into Gemini

  • May 26th - New Moon in Gemini

  • May 29th - Mercury Cazimi (9°01' Gemini) also the upcoming workshop!

Gemini season starts like a brain fog that suddenly gets chatty. One minute, you’re standing at your kitchen counter, zoning out over a half-sliced avocado. The next, your mind is sprinting through five half-finished ideas, a text thread you forgot to respond to, and an old conversation from 2019 that apparently still has something to say. You want to say everything and nothing at the same time.

This is just how Gemini season begins… so don’t panic.

After the deep stillness and body-led pace of Taurus season, our minds are officially online again. It can be a lot. You might feel overstimulated. You might find yourself talking faster, overthinking more, second-guessing even your most grounded decisions. That’s okay. That’s part of the recalibration.

And then on May 24th, Saturn moves into Aries. Saturn’s reentry into Aries feels like a reality check in the middle of a really good brainstorm. You’re deep in the vibe, thinking about all the things you could do, when Saturn walks in like, “Okay, but what are you actually committing to?”

Saturn inhibits whatever sign it touches to give it structure. So this is where your ideas and impulses get tested for the next 2.5 years.

Then Mercury, Gemini’s ruling planet, comes home on May 25th. The day after, we also have a New Moon in Gemini too. It’s a great time to vision board, manifest into reality any writing projects you have been wanting to bring into material reality. But also remember, it’s a lot of mental gymnastics coming your way. Treat May 25th to the 29th with a lot of self-compassion, curiosity, and grace.

Purge all of your chaotic thoughts on pages and pages of paper so it doesn’t have to be stuck in your head. All of Phase 1 is about letting yourself think, feel, and speak like you’re coming back online. Let your thoughts be messy. Let your mind change. Let yourself ask dumb questions and mean them. Let people hear your voice before it’s polished. So stay in conversation with yourself, with the world, with the part of you that still believes in wonder.

PHASE 2. - May 30th - June 11th

Your mind softens so you can hear your own truths come through.

An Egyptian Fellah Woman with Her Baby, Elisabeth Jerichau Baumann, Oil on Canvas, Undated
  • June 5th - Venus ingress into Taurus

  • June 8th - Mercury conjunct Jupiter (29°59' Gemini)

  • June 8th - Mercury ingress into Cancer

  • June 9th - Jupiter ingress into Cancer

  • June 11th - Full Moon in Sagittarius

Phase 2 of Gemini season slows things down just enough for you to hear your own heart again.

By the time we hit June 5th, the air that’s been swirling nonstop since the Sun moved into Gemini starts to mix with something softer. Venus moves into Taurus, one of her home signs, and with her comes the reminder that not everything has to be figured out through overthinking. Some things are answered through the body. Through beauty.

On June 8th, Mercury, the planet of thoughts, words, and how you process the world meets Jupiter at the very last degree of Gemini. It’s a portal moment. Something you’ve been mentally circling for weeks could suddenly click. This isn’t the time to hold back your ideas. This is the time to speak them aloud, even if they feel a little too big, too raw, too “is this dumb?” It’s not.

So say the thing. Write the thing. Let yourself be heard.

I also like that Mercury will ingress into Cancer mid-season. It will ground your ideas, questions with some emotional investment here. On June 9th, Jupiter, the planet of expansion, luck, and spiritual learning will also enter Cancer. Jupiter is exalted in this water sign. Your emotional capacity, how big and deep you feel will expand. But so is your quest to defining what home and family really means for you.

Which means, for the next year, emotional wisdom is your compass. You’ll start to crave spaces and people where your nervous system can relax. Not where you’re challenged to be better, but where you’re allowed to be held. Let that craving guide you. Let it rewrite your idea of what abundance really means.

We will close this phase June 11th’s Full Moon in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is Gemini’s opposite sign, so this moon lights up the axis of learning, believing, and becoming. You might feel a little existential. You might feel that tug-of-war between freedom and responsibility. Between faith and fact. Between needing something to believe in and not being sure what that even is anymore. That’s okay. That’s honest. The Full Moon is just trying to show you where your belief system has grown stale. Where your old philosophies no longer hold. Where you’ve outgrown a version of yourself that used to make sense.

And if all else fails? Go outside.

Look at the sky. Let your thoughts float a little higher, a little freer. Full Moons in Sagittarius always want you to remember that your soul is bigger than whatever box you’ve accidentally put it in.

PHASE 3. - June 12th - June 20th

Integration your duality begins when your voice no longer needs to prove itself.

The Arbour, or 'The Conflict', c.1900, Gaston de la Touche, Undated
  • June 15th - Mars (28°54' Leo) squares Uranus (28°54' Taurus)

  • June 15th - Jupiter (1°18' Cancer) squares Saturn (1°18' Aries)

  • June 17th - Mars ingress into Virgo

  • June 18th - Jupiter (2°06' Cancer) squares Neptune (2°06' Aries)

  • June 20th - Sun ingresses into Cancer (Solstice)

This is the last leg of Gemini season where you’ve had a few insights, maybe even shared them out loud, and now the universe says: Great. Let’s see what you do when the energy shifts.

June 15th brings not one but two squares. Mars in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, and Jupiter in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries. Translation? What you want to do and what the world lets you do might not be the same thing right now. And that can feel frustrating as hell.

Mars in Leo wants bold moves, loud declarations, unapologetic expression. But Uranus in Taurus shakes that confidence a bit. Something unexpected might disrupt your flow, an external event, a mood swing, a flash of self-doubt disguised as realism. It can make you question, “Wait… was I too much?” Or, “Did I get ahead of myself?

At the same time, Jupiter (expansion, growth) is in a tense dance with Saturn (limits, structure). It’s like trying to dream big while also trying to be responsible, and those energies don’t always harmonize on the first try. The push-pull between faith and control is real. You might feel like you're being asked to grow up and take risks at the same time. And you might want to scream into a pillow because of it.

If this is happening to you, you’re not doing it wrong. This is just the energetic checkpoint. What you want? It's real. But it’s going to need patience. It’s okay to slow down.

On June 17th, Mars enters Virgo, and suddenly all that big Leo energy gets rerouted into spreadsheets, revisions, edits, and organizing the mess. This is when the high gets humbled. You might suddenly feel the urge to declutter your home, map out your next quarter, or rewrite something that never felt quite right. Trust that urge.

On June 18th, we will have another square, this time between Jupiter and Neptune. You might feel emotionally raw, dreamier than usual, or like you can’t quite tell what’s real versus projection. It’s very “cry during a commercial” energy. You might feel overwhelmed by the world, by your feelings, by the ache of trying to do life when everything is in transition.

Please be gentle with yourself here. Drink water. Avoid spiraling through other people’s opinions. If something feels off, pause before reacting. Get into stillness as it prepares us for the solstice. Which is the longest day of the year, and the entrance of Cancer season.

Brownie Tips this Gemini Season

  • Don’t take every passing thought personally. Not every weird idea or mental spiral is a soul assignment. Some things will land, others are just rehearsal.

  • If you’re spiraling, go outside. Seriously. Gemini is an air sign. When your mind gets too airy, your body needs earth. Touch a tree. Sit on grass. Let your thoughts breathe somewhere other than your own head.

  • Don’t be afraid to change your mind. Evolving is not flaky. Your ability to pivot, soften, clarify, or course-correct is not a character flaw. You’re figuring out who you are, what you stand for, and this is part of the process.

Invitation to this month’s upcoming workshop

This Gemini season on May 29th, there is a Mercury cazimi!

It’s the perfect time to step out of mental static of other people’s frequency that doesn’t belong to you and into your own energetic alignment.

I taught a workshop designed to do one thing really well:

👉🏽 Help you protect your energy, clarify your thoughts, and shield your spirit, especially if you're the kind of person who feels everything (even what isn't yours).

If Gemini season has you feeling scattered, over-stimulated, or mentally “on” all the time, I created this for you.

Especially if your nervous system is fried, your inner voice has been drowned out by comparison and noise, or you're simply tired of trying to sound clear when you don’t feel clear.
